GWS Medika Clinic, located in Kalibata City, celebrates its first anniversary this year. This clinic, founded to serve the healthcare needs of Kalibata City apartment residents and the general public, has experienced rapid growth in the last year.
GWS Medika participated in the half-marathon event organized by Smartfren (7/7). This event was attended by around 3,000 runners along the routes of Jl. Semanggi, Gatot Subroto, Sudirman, and M.H. Thamrin, with the start and finish at Plaza Timur Parkir Senayan. Participants are divided into three categories: the distance of 21,097K as the highest category, the 10K and 5K categories.
From morning until noon, a queue of runners and visitors wanted to check their blood sugar and cholesterol at the GWS Medika booth. The medical team was busy checking blood pressure and taking blood samples. Several officers served registration and carried out promotions in front of the booth.
The splendor of Jakarta's 497th anniversary was marked by the BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2024. GWS Medika, the leading health clinic in Jakarta, wanted to be included in celebrating this event. On June 23, 2024, GWS Medika will be present at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area with full enthusiasm to support runners from 30 countries, including Indonesia.
In collaboration with Sinar Mas Insurance, GWS Medika had the opportunity to introduce itself and provide health services to Human Resources (HR) based at GIIC (Greenland International Industrial Center) in the industrial area owned by Deltamas (6/6).
“Cervical cancer can develop without any symptoms due to the HPV virus, which is transmitted through sexual activity. "Because of that, it is important to practice good hygiene during sexual intercourse, have regular pap smears and VIA tests, and protect yourself by getting the complete HPV vaccine," explained dr. Dinda during a health talk event focused on "The Importance of the HPV Vaccine to Prevent Cervical Cancer."
