wund+™ Product Training & Workshop: Exploring Advanced Wound Care Concepts

On December 5, 2024, GWS Wellness, a member of Sinarmas, hosted a training and workshop session on wund+™ Product Training & Workshop and Advanced Wound Care Concepts. This in-depth training was designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of wund+™ products and to empower them with the confidence to handle various wound cases.

Rafael Manuz from Wound Care Global Holdings and Dr. Peter Engels from SanderStrothmann GmbH were the speakers at the event held at Wisma BNI in Jakarta Pusat.

Mr. Mazuz led the training session by focusing on advanced wound care concepts, which include the latest approaches in chronic wound management and technological innovations in wound care. The session also included real case studies and practical solutions directly applicable to the field.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Engels strengthened and deepened the participants' understanding of wund+™ products. His presentation covered the active ingredients, product functionality, and effective application techniques.

Dr. Engels also highlighted the importance of understanding patient needs holistically to provide optimal care.

wund+™ variants

wund+™ is available in three variants: wound spray, regeneration cream, and scar gel.

wund+™ Wound Spray cleanses, moisturizes, and prevents infection in acute and chronic wounds. The hypochlorous acid (HOCl) component cleans and moisturizes wounds by removing biofilm and fibrinoid debris, promoting wound healing and lowering the risk of infection.

wund+™ Scar Gel, made with Centella Asiatica stem cells and Silicone can speed up wound healing by repairing damaged tissue. Its adaptive pigment content can conceal scars from surgical wounds, cesarean sections, stretch marks, burns, or acne.

Another product, wund+™ Regeneration Cream can help heal and moisturize chapped, dry, and problematic skin. This cream, made with powerful active ingredients, has antimicrobial properties, helps the natural exfoliation process of dead skin cells on the outermost layer of the skin, increases skin softness, and protects the skin barrier.

The micro-silver in wund+™ Regeneration Cream prevents the formation of new wounds, soothes problematic skin, and reduces itching. It is ideal for diabetic patients with a history of diabetic foot ulcers, decubitus ulcers, venous ulcers on the legs, as well as wounds in the healing, cuts, bites, and abrasions.

wund+™ Regeneration Cream can also be applied to surgical wounds in the healing period (intraoperative and postoperative), burns, atopic dermatitis (eczema), and psoriasis.

The GWS Medika medical, marketing, and support teams all attended the event. In the workshop session, three groups consisting of a salesperson, a nurse, and a doctor were given a wund+™ product in which they had to pitch for what type of wounds the product is best suited for.

This ensured that each participant understood how to market and use the product properly. It is hoped that through this workshop, participants not only gain a deep understanding of wund+™ but also enable them to apply advanced wound care techniques in daily practice.
