GWS Medika has officially established a collaboration with Royce Dental (21/2), one of the largest dental clinic groups in Singapore, in an effort to improve the quality of dental health services in Indonesia.

The collaboration agreement was signed at the GWS Medika Main Clinic, Blok M, Jakarta, and was attended by the management team and medical personnel of GWS Medika. From Royce Dental, CEO dr. Yeo Kok Beng and COO dr. Evan Lim were present.

Royce Dental, which now has 48 branches in Singapore, continues to expand its service reach to various countries, including Indonesia. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the dental service ecosystem in both nations through a variety of strategic initiatives.



Scope of cooperation


As part of this collaboration, GWS Medika and Royce Dental will work together in several keys areas, including:


  • Clinical exchange—Dentists from both institutions, including specialist and general dentists, will share their experiences and expertise.

  • Continuous training and education—Regular seminars and workshops will be conducted to improve the competence of dentists in both countries and share case studies.

  • Telemedicine consultation—Using telemedicine technology, Royce Dental dentist will collaborate with the GWS Medika medical team to develop more effective patient treatment plans. GWS Medika dentist will be responsible for the implementation.

  • Patient referrals—Patients with complex conditions can be referred to Singapore for further treatment. Patients who have completed treatment in Singapore will receive continued care from the GWS Medika dental team.


Commitment to the future of dental health services


Beyond its partnership with Royce Dental, GWS Medika has also established partnerships with six Singapore-based companies, as well as companies from America, China, and Malaysia.


Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Co-Founder of GWS Medika, dr. Koh Hau-Tek, emphasized that this collaboration is a strategic step in opening up more opportunities for medical personnel in Indonesia to gain international experience.

Met in a separate location, dr. Laurencia Angelina, Dental Supervisor and GP Dentist at the GWS Medika Blok M Main Clinic said, “We are pleased with this collaboration because there will be a lot of case sharing in dentistry and clinic management.”
