dr. Maria Sharon graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Pelita Harapan in 2020. She began her career as a volunteer doctor at Rumah Sakit Siloam Mampang.


Her experience was enriched when she participated in an internship program at Kabupaten Boalemo, Gorontalo. After completing her internship, she worked as a COVID-19 vaccinator with FHI 360.


In addition to practicing as a general practitioner, she teaches medical students in semesters 3-5 at her alma mater. She guides them in clinical skills such as anamnesis, physical examination, supporting examinations, and patient education.


dr. Maria has a special interest in family medicine, geriatrics, vaccination for children and adults, infectious diseases (especially dengue infection), perimenopause, and sexual health.


dr. Maria has researched the correlation between primigravida and multigravida maternal with the knowledge level about exclusive breastfeeding and early initiation of breastfeeding.


She has also completed various trainings and obtained certifications, including ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), patient safety training, adult vaccinology, and ICV (International Certificate of Vaccination) for dengue prevention innovations in clinical practice.


Her achievements were recognized globally when she presented research on infectious diseases in Indonesia as part of the Global Health course program at the University of Groningen, Netherlands.


With her experiences, dr. Maria Sharon is committed to providing better and more inclusive health services for all.
